We believe in science and use it to provide one of a kind innovative products to make a real impact in reducing plastic pollution. All our products (Areca leaf products, bagasse products and unique paperboard hot takeaways products) are biodegradable and home compostable as they are made of the raw material chosen from nature, which after disposal, returns to nature. This is hugely beneficial because industrial composting facilities often refuse to compost products
Our Areca leaf products are 100% natural, biodegradable, compostable and sustainable resources and can be composted naturally within 6-8weeks. No trees are ever cut to make the Areca leaf products. They are made from naturally fallen Areca palm leaves, which makes us one of those few companies who uses 100% renewable resources for manufacturing our products. At Disposable Green we make sure that quality of our each product has gone through a stringent quality check, we offer only Grade A quality products.
Not all bagasse products are home compostable, as many products on the market are blended with chemicals or other materials. They are not all 100% sugarcane fibre like our range. At Disposable Green, we’ve taken additional steps to make our bagasse tableware range even more sustainable and durable. They are 100% sugarcane fibre and unbleached—meaning they can naturally compost at home or at landfill. Home composting helps mitigate the impact of waste on the environment, and it increases your soil nutrients. Good for us and the planet.
Our brand new and one of a kind NEXTGEN takeaway range that we have just launched is made from sustainable paperboard packaging with a PROPRIETARY UNIQUE AQUEOUS LINING INSIDE. This allows the products to completely compost in the backyard or landfill within 24weeks, unlike PLA lining takeaways which can only be industrially composted. Keeping with our promise of 100% Home Compostability for all our offering, we can confirm that these products have achieved one of the first OK HOME COMPOST TUV AUSTRIA Certification.

Botanical name of this leaf is “Areca Catechu Linn”. Areca leaf plates are made from the naturally fallen leaves of areca trees that grows in moderate temperatures. The fallen areca leaves are collected by local people, soaked, cleaned, then heated and molded into beautiful different shapes by force press machine. When all of the moisture and dusts has been squeezed out, the areca leaves retain the shape of the mold. After use, the leaves can be composted, with bio-degradation occurring in just six to eight weeks. The main advantage of using areca leaf plates is quick bio-degradation.
