Bagasse is a by product generated when sugarcanes are crushed for juices. The residual is called bagasse and traditionally burnt in boilers to dispose off. With technological upgrades, this high fiber residue was successfully pulped to be further converted into multiple forms of plates and bowls.

Bleached and Unbleached are two varieties of bagasse plates available in the market. White ones are bleached to give uniform color and be aesthetically appealing. Unbleached plates are usually different shades in brown color varying on the bagasse composition everytime.

Bagasse products are machine made and involve minimum human touch until it reaches end user. The products are relatively cheaper than areca and most suitable alternatives for every customer segment.
